Medallist competitions are for dancers who haev taken ISTD Exams. We attend 4 area competitions a year. All competitors are taught a set of line dance for their age and grade. This set dance can be various styles inculding slow, fast freestyle, street or rock 'n roll. There is also a rock 'n roll section. The winners at the area events in the set dance and rock 'n roll section go on to the national finals held in Guilford every October, which is great experience for all qualifiers. There are also supporting events at Guilford in frestyle solos and freestyle pairs.

ADFP competitions are favoured by the more the more experienced and confident dancers. Dancers start competing t beginner level an don loosin g3 lives move up to starters. From starters to intermediate, and then onto Championship. The dancers move around the floor with such energy and speed , the costumes are fantastic and the champs are just amazing to watch.

These competitions are based locally and are good for all dancers, especially beginners and new competitors. They are fun and beginners get the chance to wear sparkly costumes.

Dancers of all abilities are given the chance to take an exam in Freestyle, Street or Rock 'n Roll twice a year with the imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. A government recognised awarding body. Exams range from under 6's up to teaching qualifications.
